Naturally I was hesitant because of that experience but Aiden was extremely thorough which made the experience far easier. I came to Leeds Audiology Clinic with my mother who had been struggling with NHS hearing aids for years. This is a fantastic clinic which we can recommend wholeheartedly. It is a family run business with a friendly and personal feel. We saw Andrew who has years of audiology experience both within and outside the NHS. He also wears a hearing aid himself which made us feel that he really understood the difficulties of hearing loss and the benefits that modern aids can provide. Throughout the whole process of hearing assessment, choice of aids, fitting and follow up, he was so clear, helpful and patient with our many questions. My mother's new aids are a great success for her hearing in all sorts of environments, and also for comfort and ease of use. She also has the reassurance of an annual review and access to support from the clinic for the lifetime of her aids. We are so glad we chose Leeds Audiology Clinic!

So pleased I discovered this excellent Audiology Clinic conveniently situated on the edge of Leeds City centre close to the Town Hall. I've suffered with high volumes of wax in my ears now for a number of years and after trying other clinics this one gave me the best results. Mainly due to being offered a choice of 2 procedures, suction and water irrigation. I left the clinic feeling and hearing much better. I would definitely use Leeds Audiology Clinic again.

Highly recommended. My hearing was severely muffled and it was my first time for microsuction and irrigation. The effect was instant and transformative. The wonderful man who performed the procedure was very gentle and talked me through it as I have procedure anxiety. I will always use this clinic in future.

I needed new custom made earplugs which required taking moulds of my ear canals. I arrived 20mins early and was able to be seen straight away. On inspection of my ears, I require the removal of wax from both ears and LAC were able to accommodate this additional change. The audiologist repeated one of the moulds to ensure it represented my canal which was very narrow. All I all, everything was handled very professionally and very promptly. Excellent service. Thanks

Andrew and Emily were extremely pleasant and professional. I had previously had earwax removed twice elsewhere. This was the first time that I had the opportunity to see images of the ear channels obtained with a small camera. The images enabled me to better understand the hearing problems that I was having. Andrew also explained very clearly what he would do, and when a small amount of soft wax remained in one ear after the initial microsuction treatment he patiently helped me decide whether to have a very gentle rinse with water. I had the rinse, which was not an option where I went before. My hearing seems to be better than it was after my previous earwax removals elsewhere. I intend to go to the Leeds Audiology Clinic periodically with a sufficient frequency to prevent the severe hearing loss that I experienced prior to my first visit there. I highly recommend the Leeds Audiology Clinic.

BEST AUDIOLOGIST !! I am severely deaf, particularly in the lower frequencies. I have worn hearing aids for 25 years and have difficulty understanding speech. Andrew was patient and understood my needs. He shared and explained his programming screens, allowing us to work together to find the best fit. Today's technology is wonderful but your audiologist is still the most important part of the equation.I would not hesitate in recommending LAC. They are excellent in all respects and their prices are very reasonable. My new Widex Allure aids have a very natural sound and I now look forward to each day and the richness of sounds I haven’t heard for many years.

Being in the music industry for very long time, you have to have to the best care for your hearing. This place is without a doubt the best care I’ve had. From the moment you enter the beautiful building, met by a lovely reception, who couldn’t do enough for you. The care and treatment is the best you will have. I can not recommend this company enough.My 16 YO son has been having issues with his ears for months. The GP has been absolutely useless and kept telling us to buy over the counter items. Nothing worked.I contacted numerous private clinics and no one would see my son with him being under 18 but they recommended LAC.I rang this morning at around 9am and had an appointment this afternoon for 2pm. We arrived a little bit earlier than the appointment time but was taken straight through.The practitioner was very calming and informative and kept explaining everything to my Son. My Son even commented on the way home how nice he was to him. We were in and out in less than half an hour with my son now pain-free and able to hear properly for the first time in months.The clinic itself is very welcoming, well kept and clean!I would recommend anyone to come here if they needed to and I know if I ever need these services again, I will not hesitate to get back in touch!Thank you to the LAC team.Myself & Frayzer are very grateful!

I have been a ‘customer’, ‘patient’ of LAC for some time. Initially for one hearing aid and recently for a second. Andrew advised me I needed two and how right he was, I had not realised what a difference a second one would make. I cannot stress enough how amazing this family business is - all the staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The premises are beautifully maintained and Andrew is brilliant - he is very patient, extremely knowledgable. Very importantly he ensures that you understand the procedure and that the hearings aids are correct for you and tuned in to your needs, no matter how long it may take. This place is amazing. From start to finish the whole experience was a breeze and service was expertly delivered. I didn't catch the gentlemans name who performed microsuction on my ears but he was helpful and professional. Extremely honest to the point he charged me for one earlier despite doing both as he said they weren't bad. I wouldn't have known either way. As someone whose job is to negotiate contracts I was becoming conscious of finding it harder to pick-up all of the conversation in important meetings. Despite this I had put off doing anything about it for a long time for a number of reasons. Firstly, my own vanity was stopping me believing I really needed them! Secondly I didn't feel confident in finding a hearing aid supplier that would not 'sell' me something that wasn't completely suitable as I knew others who had either poor results or had been over-charged. All this changed as soon as I met Andrew at Leeds Audiology Centre. He immediately put me at ease and his thoroughness and knowledge in testing my ears quickly convinced me of the current depleted state of my hearing. Once this was established we discussed the many options available. I settled on a pair of Widex Moment Smart 440s. These are not just a miracle of modern technology but look pretty cool too. Not only that, I had a 'no risk' trial period too, just to make sure I was totally happy. I am and cannot recommend the entire team at Leeds Audiology enough, so much so I was happy to travel over 60 miles for the service. Furthermore, a friend of mine spent almost £2000 more for an older model from a well-know national retailer. I am now totally confident in my hearing ability and a very happy customer.

Absolutely fantastic experience earlier today for an ear wax removal (which by the way the NHS didn't want to carry out). Very professional and friendly environment and staff, they talked me through the procedure and made me feel comfortable, explaining every single detail. I went to the GP about an ear problem but they weren't interested. After contacting Leeds Audiology the morning after they managed to arrange for one of their audiologists to see me that same day. The audiologist explained everything clearly to me and showed me the problem with my ear, which they sorted in less than 20 minutes! In my opinion they have the technology and the expertise to offer a fantastic service.

What a lovely clinic and even lovelier staff! 1st class service from Leeds Audiology Clinic: they weren’t perturbed by my narrow ear canals (I’ve been to GPs who wouldn’t even attempt to look!) however this was no obstacle, they managed to remove my built up wax in the safest method and I felt really comfortable as they explained each step of the process in a non-jargon way. Fairly priced too. Would recommend and would use their services again should I need it in the future. Thanks for all your help, I can hear much more now 🙏

So glad I went to this clinic. I have had chemo/ radiotherapy in my head and neck area and had a problem with a blocked ear for over 3 weeks. I was really worried, they put me at ease immediately and talked through every step of my consultation with them. Cleared the blockage painlessly and reassured me that all looked fine. They were amazing, thank you. I am not from the area but would be prepared to travel to go there again. An easy walk from the railway station too.

Having had the Clinic recommended to me, care was provide in a very accommodating, flexible and professional manner. All my questions about hearing aid technology ( and there were several ) were carefully considered and explained such that I am a little more informed about frequency ranges. The most useful ‘tip’ to remember is that aids are there to help and improve, they are not a cure. I have no problem in recommending LAC to others with hearing impairments.

Cannot love them more! They are very welcoming, professional and friendly! I was recommended by my friend. You need to book in advance and each appointment is around 30 mins. After the cleaning I still did not feel 100% good then they offered me a quick test. It turned out I have some inflammation and they kindly gave me some suggestions. For the experience I would definitely comeback and recommend them to my friends and anyone!!

Thank you so much! I was recommend this place by a colleague after I had severe wax build up that was causing tinnitus and hearing loss. They were able to squeeze me in for a next day appointment. I’ve had ear wax removed several times before, however it was my first time here. The procedure was done with true care - there was zero pain. I couldn’t recommend it enough. It seems expensive, but it is worth every penny! 10/10

Very professional audiologist, Andrew, gave me a full ENT audiology test which provided all the information I needed about my current hearing deficit. It enabled me to consider the option of hearing aids (no hard sell at all). I decided to persevere for the time being and repeat the test in 12 months to see what happens to my hearing ability in the meantime. A useful exercise at my age (66) and extremely good value.

I visited this practice for the first time today after my previous audiologist closed. I was incredibly pleased with the friendly and professional way I was treated. The hearing aids which I bought from my previous audiologist were upgraded and tweaked, and there was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything, in fact I was told that my hearing aids would last years. Great to get no ‘hard sell’, just a brilliant service. Highly recommended!

I have taken my elderly mother here twice for ear syringing and on both occasions have received excellent care. Everything was explained to her well and all her many questions answered. The audiologist is so caring and professional and doesn't rush anything but takes his time to explain what he's doing. My mother won't go anywhere else now. I myself have attended this clinic too and also received the same level of care. I can't recommend them highly enough. Must also give praise to the absolutely wonderful receptionist whom I've spoken to on a few occasions regarding getting my mother an appointment. She is extremely caring and does her absolute best to give you the appointment you want.

My 12 year old son had ear ache and I decided to bring him here after reading their amazing reviews. The service here is excellent. Andrew was very informative during my son’s treatment and my son felt very comfortable and at ease. Soon after the treatment my son felt much better and has had no problems with his ears since. I feel I OWE IT to the staff to leave an EXCELLENT feedback regarding their service.I had my hearing test with them. The staff knew their stuff in and out. They were also very welcoming.On top of the test which was carefully done (they took their time, didn't hurry etc.) we talked about all the details, all the possibilities with regard to my hearing, my past medical history in order to rule out any negative stuff and more.They also produced a document with the results.By the way, the place also looks very nice - I would like to go there again just in order to visit!So, I can only conclude by saying that the service of the Leeds Audiology Clinic was excellent. Hear, hear! :)

I rarely bother leaving feedback but was so happy with my appointment here I feel I must let others know. I went thinking I needed wax removal but the efficient and helpful audiologist identified I have a retracted eardrum with fluid in the middle ear probably as a result of a recent bad cold. He showed me inside my ear and provided guidance and what I needed to do. I fully expected I'd have to pay the £40 fee for the appointment I'd booked but he just charged £25 for a consultation. I was very reassured bu the whole process and highly recommend them

Very professional and friendly service! The audiologist took the time to describe my condition to me and even used a camera to show me inside my ear so I knew what my doctors had previously been looking at. This meant I had a better understanding of my condition and felt more empowered to talk to doctors about it. Was also given good post-treatment ear advice to make sure I was taking good care of my ear.

Wow - just Wow. How good an experience was that!! I've suffered most of my adult life with wax build up and then removal. Spent many hours using wax loosening treatments (mainly olive oil) and then off to the Doctors/Nurses for syringing or more recently irrigation removal. Apparently this is now "treatment non grata" at Surgeries so difficult to arrange. This time it was my wife who had a problem and had spent weeks using olive oil with little improvement at all. After weeks of this we got lucky. A friend of a friend (really!) made us aware of LAC so a quick call and it was arranged. Greeted on arrival by the Manager Emily, who it turns out we already knew, 1 bit of paperwork and in to see Andrew. Had all the time in the world it seemed. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated (quite willingly) to the anatomical guide followed by the CCTV view of her ears and the problem wax. We are both of the non squeamish type so thoroughly enjoyed this view (and you know it really has all been removed). (Andrew had some light background music playing which I could hear but my wife could not until he suddenly removed all of her wax). After she was done I had Andrew check my ears and both were on the edge of closing up after all, so they were done as well. Totally painless and both done and dusted in beautiful surroundings in less than 15 minutes. A very enjoyable experience, which I won't hesitate to repeat if required, and all done by such capable professionals. Thank you and Well Done Andrew and Emily

Andrew was very kind and understanding. I had a very negative experience at a very well known high street chemist in Huddersfield at the end of July trying to get my ears cleared. Andrew was the polar opposite and managed to syringe my ears using the water irrigation, as they were difficult to do. He made the whole experience as pleasant as it could have been. The clinic is spotless and his daughter on reception was equally as pleasant. It’s taken me about 4 months to finally be able to hear again, all thanks to Andrew Being able to see inside my ears on the screen was also helpful.When my ears need syringing again, which they inevitably will, Leeds Audiology Clinic is the only place I will go.I would highly recommend the Clinic.

This was my second visit to LAC. I had both ears cleared of wax by partly irrigation and partly suction. All very painless and comfortable. Once again, Andrew fully explained everything to me and it is really helpful and interesting to see your ear canals on the screen in front of you and to see the difference before and after treatment. I know there are a number of audiologists in Leeds, but once again I would recommend LAC without hesitation. Other than my GP I have only ever previously used the 2020 Hearing Centre on Dixon Lane Leeds 12. I had a poor experience there and would certainly not recommend them. LAC provide a very professional and courteous service. And Emily on reception is so pleasant and polite.

I can't thank the clinic enough for helping me. The experience was excellent and all members of the team were very accommodating. I had to book this appointment quickly as I was going away and didn't want discomfort during my break. They ensured I got the earliest appointment to suit my needs. 2 days instead of a 4 week wait to see the GP and from entering the clinic to leaving everything was perfect. They considered your needs with the Covid pandemic rulings but this didn't take away from the experience but added to it, giving me assurance and confidence in all they did. My dad lost his hearing in one ear when he was younger through an accident. This has caused him to be very protective of his other 'working' ear which has unfortunately started to degrade due to work related noise damage and age.I spoke with Emily at LAC and she was very helpful and gave me confidence that they would be able to provide help with my dads hearing.My dad was hesitant at first but after we'd had our first appointment that was eased. Andy was extremely informative about how everything worked and could also sympathies with my dads reluctance to using a hearing aid. I think that was a big factor in my dad accepting the trial. We are still in the trial period but it is all pointing towards my dad been happy. LAC have given him a new lease of life in regards his hearing. Thank you very much for that. I would highly recommend LAC to anyone who is having trouble with their hearing.

Fantastic service from the time I walked in. The audiologist was knowledgable, friendly and made me feel comfortable with each procedure. Most importantly, the ear wax removal was painless and effective. I highly recommend LAC and great that I didn’t have to wait 4 weeks for an emergency appointment like Boots offered.

Andrew and his receptionist were extremely friendly and welcoming, and wore face coverings and consistently used hand sanitiser. The clinic is very clean, and spacious.I had ear wax removal and was shown the inside of my ear on a screen.Although my ear proved to be a challenge due to the wax stuck inside, Andrew did a great job and unblocked my ear.I will definitely be coming back here in the future as I couldn't fault the team.Very professional, and very fair prices.Thanks LAC!

I would like to thank Emily for making me feel welcome and for booking me in a day after I asked for a query for clearing my right ear as it was full of wax leaving me hard of hearing. I would also like to thank the audiologist for making me feel welcome too he explained what was going to happen and showed me the view of inside both of my ears. The wax in my right ear was cleaned and wasn't painful I can hear everything again and he even showed my ear after and was surprising how clear it was afterward will definitely be back when I need to :D

My second visit to Leeds Audiology Clinic for micro-suction, and just as positive an experience as the first. Easy to arrange an appointment, friendly, professional staff, taking every precaution possible in the COVID-19 pandemic, with an extremely capable audiologist who went out of his way to explain the procedure, to involve me (showing me the horrific lumps of wax - I did want to see them!) and I left with much improved hearing. I would recommend without hesitation, and when I need my increasingly hairy auditory canals to be unblocked again, I will be going back. Thank you.

Received ear wax removal three days ago and can now hear very well after weeks of being partially deaf. The service provided was first class being very professional and effective. I have previously always had my ears waxed at my doctors practice but will now use this clinic in future having full confidence in their ability to cure the problem Would not hesitate to recommend this clinic to others with the same problem

So glad I found this clinic! A really professional service so much better than all those high street hearing aid chains...... Booking an appointment was easy. I was seen promptly by the audiologist who was friendly & professional. Covid safety measures were observed and the process was explained throughout. It was really helpful to be able to see inside the ear on screen. The treatment was painless and swift - I was in and out in under 20 mins. I’m elated to be able to hear again after weeks of discomfort. I highly recommend LAC.

A very positive experience, friendly welcome and good atmosphere. Audiologist was very professional and explained everything that was going on, I felt in safe hands. And the end result was amazing. I entered in a slightly muffled fug and left with 100% hearing. Excellent.

I phoned LAC in the morning as I was totally deaf in 1 ear. I was very happy to get an appointment on the same day. The doctor was very informative throughout the process and kept making sure it didn't hurt (which it didn't at all). The doctor cleaned out both my ears and straight away I can hear 100% again. Very happy, would recomend...

Very professional company. Very pleasant welcome in reception and straight through to be assessed. Clear explanation about what was going to happen and treatment was quick and worked well. Being shown the results via camera was reassuring that everything had worked as planned. In total the whole experience lasted only around 20 minutes and Iwould have no problem in referring anyone to the clinic for any form of ear treatment

I have just retuned home after my first ever visit to Leeds Audiology Clinic and can not praise them highly enough. Andrew, the audiologist talked me through and explained absolutely everything he was about to do, to clear my blocked ears, and the reason why. Very professional and welcoming. Andrew is excellent at taking you through every step of your treatment and makes you feel very comfortable. Highly recommended and worth every penny to get proper clear hearing back in both ears! Don't waste your time and prolong your discomfort by dealing with your local GP surgery.

Amazing clinic! The audiologist was extremely friendly and put me at ease as soon as I went into the clinic! He made me feel comfortable and was very informative- He explained everything he was doing which was brilliant and made me feel relaxed. I highly recommend and will definitely be going back if I have any problems in the future!
